    ... thus late getting this blog started. Friday morning we were up at 6am to get up and on our way to the Lansing, WV for an all day whitewater rafting trip down the Lower New River.     -Camp worker Charlie who with his wife works on the grounds 9 hours a week and stays free with his RV. Anything over 9 hours he gets paid. Nice guy with very interesting hard luck life stories.

    We headed out from Blacksburg a little after 10:00 this morning. Drove about 265 miles today; Rt 460 into West Virginia, I-77 N to I-64 W to Morehead, Kentucky. It was a beautiful drive through the mountains, and there was very little traffic.
