    Bilen blev fundet og turen gik uforglemmeligt over The Golden Gate i den dis der gør broen aller smukkest. Jeg havde parkeret bilen ude ved stranden uden for et motel - jeg havde ikke lyst til at betale minimum 25 $ pr døgn for parkering i byen - og det gik godt!

    We embarked on this very long day at 6-15am when we headed to the airport in Adelaide. Flight to Sydney at 8am was fine having 3 seas for just us. In Sydney we had time for a great Chicken Laksa in the Qantas Lounge before boarding the plane for LA and leaving at 1-25pm. We were on the new A-380 upstairs in Economy but got the short straw in seats.     ... nothin'. "You can't make a three night reservation when you are on scene, says so on the sign outside". Well, YOU were going to do it for us yesterday, I says. Why can't you do it NOW? He checks the envelope with our money in it.

    If I had not gone to the Eugene air museum I would not know that the worlds largest aircraft was 90 miles away.

    Whatever the tiny amount you know of Howard Hughes, he was a legend and the world needs people like him.

    This was an extraordinary privilege and something I will treasure.
