We drove all day Thursday to Eugene. Some parts of the drive were wet & rainy and other times I actually had sunglasses on. There was a brief moment when I felt sunshine on my face and saw some blue sky. I was sure the natural sky color was grey until I saw that spot of blue!

The second leg of our train adventure has been quite enjoyable. The train is travelling at a good speed and we have made up some of the lost time due to the delay leaving Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.
