    wasn't somewhere we wanted to stay overnight. So we headed to Fresno
    and then stopped at a Pilot Truck Stop in Madera, just outside of
    Fresno. It was chock full of trucks and we ended up parking on the
    road outside. Thankfully I had the eye mask and ear buds to hide the
    sound of a hundred idling trucks. They go all night long.

    ... down in this pristine valley. There are many waterfalls within Yosemite that flow off the mountain tops. We are fortunate and it's not overly dry here and most are still flowing. The most popular is probably Bridal Veil Falls. The walk back in to see it from a good advantage point wasn't bad but was up hill. You get plenty of exercise here for sure!
