We woke up this morning to find a blanket of snow over everything outside. So we had some breakfast and went outside in the snow, we even got to walk on the frozen river. Then we got ready to drive to Beaver Meadows Ranch. It was about an hours drive and we saw a lot of mountains along the way. We we got outside and it was FREEZING! ... museum of Nature and Science so Zach could once again go to his favourite Space Odyssey exhibit again.

After 1.5 hours in Space Odyssey we managed to get him out and went upstairs to the kids Discovery Zone room which was awesome too. They had an interactive Tornado show, smell tests, real hissing beetles, dinosaur bone archaeological pit, giant puzzles, tunnels, magnets, and a construction zone. He was there another 1.5 hours.

... Castle Point for the full Walmart experience....good god! Somewhat overwhelming to say the least....but eventually we found most things, spent a small fortune and headed for the Chatfield State campground, which was stunning! Quite a surprise as it was only planned to be a quick and convenient stop, but in fact was lovely, by the side of a lake and very pretty. We think it is an old Engineer Corps ...
