    ... further up the track and repeated the whole thing. He did this four times. The single line railway stopped at a dead end and we discovered he was a wolfman who needed Burma Shave. (Oh-kay?!) as the track was one way, the only way to get back to the station was in reverse. Dutifully the wolfman shouted at us another four times before we trundled back into the station. They are from Indiana, they are very keen hikers and have hiked so many places it's incredilble.     ... Alpine Valley campground at 7 pm and managed to pitch our tents before dark. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. I had baked salmon and it was delicious as were the vegetables and salad. Now I need to go into food coma before morning comes.

    ... in the cast iron pie iron on a hot fire will blacken your bread real fast. We roasted marshmallows for the first time that evening. We didn’t have the ingredients for s’mores, so we pushed chocolate chips in the middle of the marshmallows and called it a day! They were good.
