Well, it's a good thing that we rain-proofed the tent by putting up our giant tent-covering tarp (we tie it to trees, so it doesn't drape over the tent and cover the air vents), even though the hourly weather forecast suggested 0% chance of rain until 4 a.m. and then 5% chance. ... day of washing, running errands and just relaxing. We were all happy with this idea. So I get on the phone to the passport office and social security office to sort out my U.S. passport issues. I get it all sorted and realise I have to apply for a new Social Security Card (easily done) and then I can apply for my passport when I get home as it doesn’t expire until May next year.
