Nice fairly sunny day start today. George did have some drooling on and off this morning but got better by the afternoon. Did run into a bit of snow on the sides of the roads going over the White Pass but mostly heavy rain on and off. Stopped at Randal for lunch at "The Cafe" which was a ...

... strange but will have that available next year. Border guard confessed that they were concerned about lamb and goat when asking about meat? He did discover my bacon but let me go without any problems. Got as far as Wenatchee around 5:00. We have stopped for the night in Leavenworth. This is Bavaria in America. All the places are built as in Bavaria with window boxes and heaps of flowers. Our hotel room is full of furniture that has flowers painted on it. We went out to dinner and I had a wiener snitzel which was good and we were serenaded by a bloke playing the piano accordion. I have decided that I don’t like ...

    ... Buggar.
Plenty of rapids and hiking trails and the road was newly paved so it was a good drive. We ended up pulling into Leavenworth around 1730. What an old little town. It has a Barvarian theme running through the whole town and I mean the whole town. Lucky I bought my leather shorts & long socks to wear tomorrow with my braces.! There were plenty of places to stay in town so I told Kaff that as she was driving she could choose. I did tactfully ...
