... out there in the bay! Lots and lots of islands out here, no wonder they call it Bay of Isles (that seems to be its common name anyway, technically it's really called Archipelago of the Recherce). Then we went out to Dunn Rocks... We were just following the track and all of a sudden we burst out onto the sand. There were a few very keen people camping on the beach, but gosh it was windy here!! Beautiful views, lovely powdery sand, but so so windy! We left them to it, ...

We then went out to dinner at the Pier ...

... The sun was warm when the wind stopped, which wasn't often enough. Jack still ended up in the water all the same, it was too much for him to resist. And we all ended up sunburnt. We took the kids to the bakery for lunch and they loved it. Ti said she had the best and freshest sushi, Jack said he had the best schnitzel roll and he said it's the best bakery he's ever been to. We all finished off with a cake - fatties!! After more beach time we decided to call it a day. ...

We wanted to start our holiday as soon as we could, so even though we weren't booked into Esperance until Saturday, we could get into a place in Albany. After having a christmas break with dad, Col and the girls we headed off. We stayed at the caravan park in Middleton Beach and it was awesome. We were set up right near the path to the beach and even though it was a little windy, it was quite protected from the dunes. They had ...
