We were spending one more day visiting with George and Judy before heading off to Boston and our cruise. Judy suggested a trip up to the Kringle Candle Village. Kringle Candle Company in Bernardston, MA was started by Mick Kittredge, son of the founder of Yankee Candle Company. His father had sold Yankee Candle for health reasons when Mick was only 8 years old. The Kringle Candle Company specializes in all-white candles wi, th over 100 distinctive fragrances. We ...

Our drive from to Windsor Locks, CT was relatively short, but as always, we took the scenic route on two lane roads through update New York and into The Berkshires in Massachusetts. The scenery was just beautiful and we had a beautiful day as well. We were looking for something to do on the way and saw a billboard for the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. ... to book with a tour company. It seemed the best way to see most of the country, while learning about the history and culture from a local guide. We also felt relieved from the task of booking hotels and prioritizing sites to see. And hey, neither Sean nor I wanted to learn how to drive on the other side of the road. A 10 day "Irish Legends" tour with CIE Tours seemed to be just what we needed. One phone call later, we were booked for an Ireland ...

After a supercharge at Newburgh, NY we made our way to Lenox, MA and Tanglewood - a truly special venue to see a concert.

For those supercharging at Newburgh, if you find yourself with some time to grab a bite to eat at Cosimo's. Great Italian food, we enjoyed it very much at our Tanglewood picnic.

James Taylor was, as always, amazing and it was so nice to be back "home" in New England. We must be making memories because the boys both ...
