    ... got to that section. Oh joy! Anyway, I'd done this once before, so with grim determination and by letting anyone who caught up with me pass me, I made it down ... and treated us to a Teen Burger before going to look for my aunt an uncle, who spend the winter there.

    It was wonderful to spend the evening with them. Lots of laughs and great conversation! ...

    We have finally arrived into sunshine and no rain! Osoyoos is the only desert in Canada and we parked at a lake surrounded by other RVs and fit people with boats, canoes, paddle boards, mountain bikes etc. We of course being British, firstly went to the Cantina on site for sundowners, then went wine tasing at the local vineyards which were fantastic! Lots of Pinot Noir and Reisling, ...

    The area of Okanagan lake is known for dry weather, high temperatures and its fertile soil. Perfect conditions to grow wine! There are around 35 wineries in the area of Osoyoos and Oliver and all of them offer wine tastings. We obeyed the signs Dont drink and drive and borrowed two bikes in Oliver. There is a nice paved road along the river that leads you to the winery area. We visited three wineries and all of them were quite different. ...

    We decided to rest in Keremeos - then tackle the big hill early.

    We rested a bit and walked in to town to get a 'pick me up' coffee....yum.
