    stuff than we counted on.

We hit the border with John Denver singing away on our radio, not a care in the world. The sky was clouding over, the temperature was dropping (rapidly) and the miles were flying bye.

There were four new skiiers in the group so we headed straight to the bunny slopes. I made it on and off the ski lift without falling: step one! Daniel was trying to teach the basics to Hoptu, but Greg and I were too excited to wait so we started off down the slope. I made it with only two falls... Then we went back up ...

... of putting chains on tires. We both were actually pretty excited to learn the process. And I have to say, my inner six year old was pretty disappointed by the simplicity of the process. The rest of the night was spent staying warm by a fire, grabbing last minute supplies from the tiny Shop N Save (Basically the Davis equivalent to Greentown's Hulce Supermarket), and shuttling the luggage and everyone up to the lodge in the cars with chains.
