    ... up with something that at least looked like gravy (Lindsay and I don't like gravy and thus couldn't be accurate judges of how good our food was...haha). We had a church service in the lodge before loading up all of the cars and going back to Timberline.

    ... but it is stunningly beautiful which makes falling more tolerable. And by tolerable I mean that when you are on your back looking at marshmallow trees you are too distracted to register pain.
    4. Riding ski lifts to the top of the mountain is incredibly peaceful. If I didn't have to come back down on skis I could have spent my whole day riding up to see the "marshmallow" trees and listening to the occasional birds that broke the silence.
