... The round trip took us about 3 1/4 hours. We headed back to our hotel at Oakhurst around sunset which meant that it was a slow trip to avoid deer. ... So after taking in all the sites Beatty had to offer, we were off to Death Valley. Death Valley was a mixture of mountain tops & below sea level desert spaces. ... so. We saw so many colors and gorgeous different flowers - bright red, many shades of purple, mustard yellow, orange, and white. They were amazing and dotted the landscape. I was quite ecstatic jumping out of the car regularly to snap photos.
