Today was an interesting day. It started out perfect with blue skies, and a forecast of 30% rain later in the evening. Then it turned stormy, and eventually we were in the middle of a tornado watch! Colleen was nervous to say the least, especially with dark clouds looming over the horizon all around us. We managed to dodge the majority of the storm, and by the time we got to the Nebraska border, the sky was pretty well clear. We are now settled in for the night ...

Cannot explain it is just ...

After leaving the park, we started our final eastward trek toward home. We hooked up to I-80 and drove until 8:30 stopping in Sidney, Nebraska where the towns claim to fame is having a Cabella's.

We intend to get an early start tomorrow as we have 17 hours of driving back to Cincy.

Well, yesterday was a very very long day. Almost thirteen hours on the road took us to the lovely farm town of Big Springs, Nebraska, where we were swarmed by flies and cats. The lovely perfume...Eau de farm was a delight. What can you expect for 15 bucks, at least we got a good night's sleep. The highlight of Nebraska was $3.12 gasoline. Woohoo!! After waking up at four am, thank you mountain ...
