... in our bags. So easy. From Alamo car park to departure lounge in 1 hour.

We had plenty of time to walk the terminal and check out the food outlets and decided what we would have for dinner (no included meals on domestic american flights). We found a table near the eatery and set up our computers to use the free wi fi. Turns out they only give 20 minutes free so I quickly checked the emails – no-one had sent me any :(.

Exhausted, partly from the Ellen Exercise (there is no sitting still in her audience) and partly from the cold/cough that is settling in on my chest and making itself all too comfortable, we take a break and head for lunch with Tracy and Bill. ... Hotdog and Hamburger Train carriage diner. Oh, how we came back down to earth, from our rooftop celebrity stint! It was an experience as we queued up behind a man dressed in bright pink women's clothing and make up. Mind you, the food was good and I went from not wanting anything to ordering a chilli dog! Boy was it hot!. It was actually late by now and we were all tired, so we went back to the hotel and hit the sack. Not very wild of us but we still had two more nights in L.A to ...

... it was taking so long. Finally got the wrap which also included fries (which seem to come with everything here) and we took it to our tour van.

Our guide was Kent who entertained us with his commentary as he drove us up the Hollywood Hills to view the Hollywood sign and then over to the other side to Beverly Hills where we saw many celebrity homes, film locations and drove down Rodeo ...

We were asked to show our tickets which I'd printed from the email but apparently this was incorrect, we were supposed to come into the security office earlier to swap this email for an actual ticket... Oh well clearly our fault!!! Grrr!! Got collected by our tour guide who seemed a but nervous and kept doing this awkward laugh when she didn't know what to say!! Great start! Spent the first hour around the Bronson Gate entrance ...
