We decided to go to a water park today, prices were about 1/2 of what they were in Destin. Of course the kids have been wanting to go ever since they saw the one in Destin. Heat index 109. Nice. Good day to be at a water park. Ate at sonic, very un-original but that was the best we could do after being in the sun and keeping track of our kids at a packed water park for 4 hours. Especially in the bathroom with white tooth paste and kids. Impossible. Tools. Harder because you have none, easier because you figure out how to make do. Meals. Beanie weenies are ok at home but 5 star meal camping, especially on day 25 ...

Went to myrtle beach today, high winds and waves. Much angrier ocean than the gulf, as my mommasita warned me before we got here.. Thank you mama! Water cooler though, and breeze (ok wind) made it seem not as hot. Beach was kind of crowded. Which is part of why we did NOT book here... But we are at myrtle beach so it's really hard to complain! Only stayed for an hour or two and ...
