Exit Through The Gift Shop

... me to confirm that I really did just leave one gift trap, I mean shop. I’m pretty sure I can hear the bus starting on the other side of the building, but there’s only one way to get there. Through the store!

I’d love to say that I held fast and ran with blinders on for the exit, not stopping to fondle the carved this and that on table tops, or to ponder whether my son would like the hand woven bracelet ...

Wow, I'm truly flattered by Maggie's post.

We decided to take advantage of the off season and do what we haven’t done on this entire trip. We got a hotel room for the night. We went to one of the hotels and told them we were on our honeymoon (technically true). They gave us the discount room price and upgraded us to the honeymoon suite along with ...

We enjoyed electric heat last night at Myrtle Beach Yacht Club but the morning was cold and we slept in, leaving just in time to catch the 1000 opening of the Little River swing bridge, passing through with four other boats. To the Captain's thinking, the next 27 miles of Myrtle Beach overdevelopment is the least attractive stretch of the entire east coast ICW. The next few hours was spent moving along this segment at approximately 6 knots until we hit ...
