To Live & Die in L.A.

... to anyone who goes.
After the taping was over we met back up with my parents and headed to the nearby Farmer’s Market. It is open daily and filled with a couple dozen food stands, fruit and vegetable stands, meat markets, baked goods and small shops. From there we drove across town to one of our most anticipated destinations on the entire trip, The Bruery. We fell in love with The Bruery’s sour beers while in New Orleans and knew ...

Boston to LA, heading for Papeete

Start of our trip, a day of traveling.

Our United flight was supposed to take off at 11:50am, to Newark/NJ then connect to LA. We got up at 6, fed the dogs and took them for a walk. JJ did very well, walked almost the entire street. We ended our day with a beautiful turkey roast and pumpkin pie at the only restaurant we could find that was open.

Welcome to America...mostly ups & couple of downs!

... to San Diego, we managed to snap some good night time skyline pics! The ferry ride was only 10 minutes and at the other side we walked through the Gaslamp which is the colourful main street filled with shops, bars and nightclubs! Back at the hostel we had a snack for dinner then enjoyed another relaxing night.

Today would turn out to be the worst day of my travels so far :( ... I checked out of the hostel, left my luggage in the managers office as everyone does and ...
