I have just got back from spending two weeks at this hotel, and me and my girlfriend had an amazing time! The money we paid for this holiday was far from expensive, and after reading the reviews i was very worried about going. But when we got to the hotel it was clean and the staff were very friendly. Our two weeks at this hotel were so good, the pool is constantly cleaned, the drinks are very good and the staff are very ...

The husband, who was a very strong man gave me a big bear hug, kissed me on both cheeks, called me his brother and said through the translator-'you will always be welcomed in our home.' The sites we have seen today have been special, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea was so exhilarating (and Judith İ am bringing home some rocks from that sea), but meeting my new Turkish friends was the real highlight of the day. Tomorrow to Urfa.

Lots of nice scenery, cool mountains and stuff. Also, bits and pieces here and there of the old Roman aqueducts that used to carry water from the mountains down to the city of Side on the coast. That was one of my favorite parts of the ...

Salcuk, Turkey ants... I should be ticking things off some imaginary list that I compile which invariably involve hiking or scrambling (definetely an expenditure of effort is required) to see some off the beaten track sight or ruin. But Ill console myself by saying that this sort of a day is necessary to act as a buffer zone every now and again - and by going to visit Termessos - which is some ancient ruins of the beaten track tommorow! Ok so another rest day for TIPO. Cheers Wadirunner.
Antalya, Turkey wadirunner... to Atilla's. The guys at Atilla's told me I had to hurry for my bus so I rushed for a shower and said goodbye to Johanna (Renato wasn't around) and they gave me a lift to town where I proceeded to wait 40 min for my bus. Uhh, what was the rush for? I had some good times at Atilla's - it really was a nice getaway from the city and a cool place to chillout. Johanna is cute and great to spend time with, Sue and the kids were fun and Renato was one of the most ...
