wasn't somewhere we wanted to stay overnight. So we headed to Fresno
and then stopped at a Pilot Truck Stop in Madera, just outside of
Fresno. It was chock full of trucks and we ended up parking on the
road outside. Thankfully I had the eye mask and ear buds to hide the
sound of a hundred idling trucks. They go all night long.
Surprisingly, we all slept ok.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about San Francisco is variety. Fun comes in every size, shape and color in that city, and you can find quarters of very diverse nationalities (chinese, japanese, italian, latin among others), shopping destinations, arts, rock, hippie culture and all that mixed with amazing beaches and sceneries.
