... it works is that every half an hour you have to dock the bike in and get a new code to release it again but Mabs' card was getting confused thinking she was getting too many bikes. So after about an hour we actually got on the right path up to Lincoln Park even then we got very lost along the way and even though there were spots of rain this morning the sun decided to come out and it got incredibly hot. I think it reached 28 degrees and I was in jeans and a thick t-shirt so I ...

I was real suprises how much I loved Chicago!! It's a beautiful well planned city. Not to busy but busy enough to have vibe. The hostel was in the city in a good spot. We walked around shopping and checking the city out. Lake Michigan lines the shores of Chicago which it was beautiful to walk alongside. It's one the of Great Lakes, and it looks like the ocean because it's so huge. It also runs through the city ...

    ... time.

Another late night after our walk but we had eaten before the walk this time so did not have to find dinner at 9 o'clock. Chicago goes to sleep at night. Where we are staying is just out of the office district and has a few things open till about 10.00. The Loop area closes down about 9.30 with a couple places staying open a little later. Across the river to the north is more residential with the commercial, so more places stay open longer. But it is not a 24 hour city.

Today is the last morning in Chicago before flying over to the west coast. Already nervous for the flight but I'm just praying that it's smooth and safe. Anything similar to the one on the way would be perfect! Woken up at 7 again, not sure how I can still have a similar wake up time as I do at home. I do like it though because I do feel like I'm ready to get up and get out for the day. Last night ended up being another late one, finally going to sleep ...
