... day; I guess I thought it would be more leisurely. Instead it's more like we get on the road early and burn through to that day's destination and then you have a few hours to enjoy what's there. Now that I understand it better I feel better equipped to handle the amount of miles we put on each morning!

The Lake Placid area is really gorgeous. We headed up to High Falls Gorge and took the 1/2 mile nature trail. Got some amazing pictures. Nothing compared ...
