Arrived at LAX (Tom Bradley International Airport) at 0615(L) 9 Jan. Noting we transited over the International Date Line we managed to land before we took off!
Flight was very good. The food was great and I managed to convince the 'Space Waiter' to give me few extra Lindt chocolates after the evening meal!
Watched a few movies: The Giver, Lucy & Son of a Gun. Also watched a 60 Mins segment on the Airplane Graveyard - ...
... made, and yes I appeared in the background - so keep your eyes peeled. Current was strong so didn't stay in too long - plus water was freezing. We grabbed some deep fried Oreos, another Oreo shake, an a carry-on suitcase for myself so I can fit my gifts in the bag!

Next stop was the Chinese Theatre and the Avenue of the Stars. Outside the Chinese Theatre we strolled through the clay plaques comparing our handprints to those of the stars ...

More highway speeds took us past Victorville and the beautiful Cajon Summit Pass where things were finally starting to look like the CA we knew. The Summit Inn Cafe looked boarded up so it's a good thing we didn't have our hopes set high on an ostrich burger for dinner!
