It was all black with what looked like a broken horn on top of his beak and long eyelashes. A truly bizarre-looking creature! We also saw more geese and ducks, including the beautiful Mandarin ducks, before heading back. From the park, we headed into Scotland Neck for lunch at La Casetta. It was right on Main Street and ...

... for Christmas. I know my mom and dad are sad I won't be here yet happy for Johnnie and me. Our plane leaves this afternoon and all is ready. I am awaiting Johnnie to return from work and my limousine. (It is really my mom and dad's truck but limousine sounded much more sophisticated.) We will soon be off to the airport for the next 2 days of flying. I know, we won't arrive in Cairns until December 21st! The time change is really going to mess with us. ...
