The bathroom had just been remodelled and the shower had really good water pressure.

My husband and I were on a bike tour. At the end of a long day of riding, all we wanted and needed was a cool room. Our room wasn't ready so we were checked into a room facing the sun and the room was HOT, even with the AC on. Sleeping that night was not good at all, due to the fact that the AC was not really emitting cool air. I woke up several times and had bites on several parts of my body. It wasn't mosquitos. It was something in the bed. I only managed to find small crawling-type of insects in the bed cover the next day.

          We

... up and started dragging cars which had crashed out of the way. After another short time the snow plow turned up but by this time the sun was out and the snow was starting to melt. We were finally allowed to go on out way after a couple of hours had passed. Snow storms continued to dog us for another hour or so after that when we suddenly emerged into the California sunshine and set course for San Francisco via our overnight stop........ Delhi?

I looked up a lot of our tour and BOY do we do a lot of driving. It's pretty ridiculous, and unfortunate because I have to do all the driving...

We have an all day tomorrow in Gustine, CA and then onward to San Jose. Sorry this isn't too interesting but thats all for today!

          Final Thoughts

Mercy HS is low key, uncrowded, kind of funky, clean, away from it all, lots of nature around, yet the SFO Bay Area is just right down the road (150 miles). Mercey HS is not as dramatic as Harbin HS, but easier to get to and a lot ...
