... that Mac and Josie are good travelers, both via car and in the air. It’s not fun for any of us, but they do a pretty good job of dealing with it.

... and arrived as the shadows were lengthening and the light was ideal for photos. We took several but, while the totems were quirky and brightly coloured, there's only so much good lighting can do and we left feeling that we would undoubtedly see better examples (proper wooden ones!) in Canada.

... Woohoo.

Bricktown is a cool area of Oklahoma City and is where most of the restaurants, cafes and entertainment area is. After a Starbucks stop (vanilla frap not the gross coffee that they serve here), we head to Chesapeake Arena - home of the OKC Thunders. Its not overly impressive but I still wanted to see the home of the 2014 MVP - Kevin Durant.
