So if I had to describe day number 275 in one word, it would be 'bloody catastrophe.' We were staying at a beach front RV park, beautiful you would think. It was directly under the flight path of LAX International Airport, so it made for some excellent plane counting – oh yeah, it’s here I should mention that we do that now. Paying into the donation box, we headed down the roller coaster road, back onto Route 66 and passing by our home stretch at 11am. Now on to new pastures passing thru Verdigris - over the Verdigris River Catoosa - it's big blue whale. We had ...

... Route 66 to cover the same ground from Chicago to the Santa Monica pier in California.

Oh yeah, at the Texas Welcome Center, we saw a sign that warned us about rattlesnakes just like in Montana! Stay away from rocks and tall weeds. Not a problem for us!

FYI - we have driven over 7000 miles so far. And, this car has been phenomenal!

One trip tip - even if an organization's website said they are open, it doesn't mean they are. We have run ...
