This event was made mandatory by the UMC conference for those considering ordination or already in the candidacy process. Thus, we thought it would be a good time where there would be a good number of seminary hopefuls present. There were about 40 people in all, most of them second career with families, and no one was really trying to leave the area for school. An "okay" event but we really don't need to attend this ...

We danced the night away to anything the DJ put on. My favorite part was the dollar dance where Becca, Elesa, Jen and I got to officially congratulate Heather and wish her well in the future.

Woke up to storms and rain. Waited for storms to pass and then we hit the road. Travelled east back to Maumee Bay State Park, about 400 miles away. A straight through trip on the highway and nice and sunny here. Nearly back in the same camp spot we had last time. Good to be back.
