We had a beautiful warm summer day to do a 50 mile cruise down a section of the Hudson River. The Catskill Mountains were in our western view most of the way. We took on about 120 gallons of Valvtech Diesel about halfway. While swimming in the refreshing pool we met a nice couple on the Rainbow Connection from Coxackie NY. They brought us fresh made brownies and pleasant conversation after dinner. ...

    Darlington Lake, farewell Jupp-Adams

Last chilled out day with Nick, Em and Charlie, as they head up to Canada tomorrow and we'll be travelling up to Boston. Mowed the lawn at 71 Cherry Lane, have it the striped look. Headed to Darlington Lake in the afternoon for a cool off swim. We cycled up on the mountain bikes that we took down to Philly. George and I still felt quite sore especially our ...

    Jersey Shore

A travel blog entry by edddadams on Aug 05, 2014

We strolled down the boardwalk interweaving between fun park money spinners; coconut shy etc. and fat, cheeseburger ...

However, the luck was all with the younger generation as Jess took the crown for Contract Rummy and Pete won at Dominoes – now they have both crowns – we’ll get them next time! It was fun to catch up with Jess and all her creations. We were also watching the Red ...

... to the car place and there waited until our car was ready. They didn't have the tent attachment for us but we decided that it was not a problem as we have bought a 6 man instant Coleman tent which will be trying out soon. A drive home and a brief stop off for a snack before getting back to Pleasantville at 5pm. A rather long day to pick up a car. Kids had spent the afternoon at the local pool and only got back closer to 7pm.
    Another great evening chatting. ...
