      ... of turtles. They were so tragically slow that several big fish popped in and snatched away all the food-- right in front of the turtles' beaks! We had to literally drop the food to land/float RIGHT in front of the turtles' beaks! Otherwise, the turtles would sloooowly float around to try to get closer to the food, at which time a big, slimy fish would come and snatch it away! But I don't think the turtles in that lake are in danger by any means.  ...

      ... next week too. The program I connected with today provides accommodation, which would save me from having to make a 2-hour commute to Atlanta everyday. Soo I should start doing some forensic science reading and come up with some sample lesson plans!! I headed to the public library and checked out some forensic science books, haha. So yeah, that's what I'll do this weekend-- reading about how science helped solve murder mysteries and also working on my scholarship ...

      ... continue our Man vs. Food tour and hit up Gladys Knight's Signature Chicken and Waffles. Sam and I both ordered the Midnight Train which is one Belgian Waffle and 4 pieces of Fried Chicken. It may have been one of our unhealthiest meals to date but dam it was delicious. Unfortunately we had to get out of there right after so we couldn't really enjoy all Atlanta had to offer but what we did do was really fun. On to Nashville.

      ... all grey and rainy, and the Southwest/Spirit/Airtran (aka the cheap trio) terminal was packed on this Monday afternoon. My flight was overbooked, and they were looking for volunteers to take other flights in exchange for 2 roundtrip tickets.
