    While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement.     ... and take whatever I want! Emory apparently has a communal garden thing going on, where the gardens are marked by colorful flags, and you can help garden and also feel free to take the produces home! They were theology doctoral students. They very kindly enthusiastically showed me different veggies and asked about me. I dug some potatoes and picked peas and cucumbers. Since I can't cook, I just took the cucumbers. How nice, right? Gotta pay it ...

    The flight from Amsterdam to Atlanta was long but we managed to entertain ourselves. We were very excited to land - along with all our luggage and whisky - back in the USA.
