The happiest creatures here were the birds and Stephen and I spent some time watching their breakfasting antics. Seafood was definitely on the menu! The seagulls-which are twice the size of Aussie seagulls- would get a clam from the ocean, fly up with it and then drop it from a height, before descending directly down like a parachute ...

It's been about 10 years since I last visited my aunt Heather and uncle Roger in Cape May. I arrived just before the start of the tourist season, so it was nice and quiet (but a little chillier than any of us liked!). We got going a little late (nothing new for us) and around 9:30am or so we were paying for our coffee and breakfast sandwiches at a Wawa along our route. I'm pretty sure it wasn't long after that we stopped for coffee again at a Dunkin' Donuts.
The drive was actually quite nice at the start of 206, getting a little shady around Trenton and then getting nice ...

    Atlantic City weekends

I made two trips to Atlantic City while a cadet, at the end of cow and then firstie years. Cow year was post-TEE leave, when a group of Gups (Frank, Mikey, Luke et al.) rented a house near the beach. Despite some unmentionable moments (Scarlett Johansson, anyone?) we had a lot of fun and were able to enjoy some relaxing time together before CLDT and breaking up for the summer. A year later, ...
