More corn fields on the way to Beresford. We came around a curve and what did we see in a field... we don't know. But it was big with huge horns. As we were getting closer to where the campground should be we see nothing but corn. But then we see an oasis of trees on a hill. This was the campground. Beautiful trees and grass. We found a Geo cache and even played Mah Jongg. A relaxing day!

We were seeing it under cloudy skies but that did not de-value the beauty and what is going on there. The park erodes at the rate of 1 inch per year..compare to Mt. Rushmore's granite surface that erodes at 1/10 inch per 1,000 yrs. We pretty ...

... interesting reading but sad to see young men there. I took the afternoon shift and I must say it was a struggle today what with the heavy traffic and tiredness. I was more than ****** off when I was getting into the grove when a western star truck passed me. I was doing 75mph and he was fully loaded. I couldn't believe it but at the same time I didn't want to keep up with him as he would have made a big mess if he had a accident. ...

After a motel breakfast we drove south to Le Mars, again. After driving all around town a hill top view of Iowa corn fields being readied for planting needed to have it's picture taken. Then off to the museum in Le Mars. This is no small museum! It is a three story brick building covering almost a square block. Every room had some kind of exhibit, trucks, tractors, a whole dinner, kitchens from 100, ...
