We drove about 400 miles today. A little further than we had wanted, but we relaxed when we arrived. We are in a very nice RV park, Arkadelphia RV Park. We have driven through much farmland. Soybeans, corn and now some cotton fields. Farmers are praying for dry weather and wind to dry out their fields. The further south we came, the fields are drying enough and the farmers are busy with their ...

As it happened, we did not attend the last day of the conference due to unforeseen circumstances. We spent a fairly quiet day; we did tour Little Rock a bit more. We found the Little Rock Central High School site (still a working high school). ... truck side. I’m not ashamed to admit I was confused and intimidated by the truck lanes and ended up driving right through. Tried a different gas station, and the only diesel they offered at the regular pumps was right in the middle, and I wasn’t trying that. So I sucked it up and got in line with the big boys. The pump wouldn’t take my card, so I went in and the cashier lady told me to go try again. She didn't seem too ...

... AR (a town named just for me). Along the way we passed a few scenic lakes. We stopped at DeGray lake to stretch out legs a bit and take in the scenery. The gate to the park was closed so we parked up top by the road, by passed the gate and walked down to get a better view of the water front. On our way there was a large spider on the sign acting as park greater. We said our hellos, and continued down. The water was nice temperate ...
