I woke early to the sound of a text about 4:30 am notifying that my flight leaving was delayed by a 1/2 hour. Another text about 6:45 saying further delay. I got up then figuring I will need to try to contact Delta as I will not make my connection in LA to Minneapolis if it is that delayed that long. I made some coffee & Barb was up right away. We walked the land that Laura walked and touched the trees that Pa had planted (thousands he planted, only a half dozen remain.) The slough was still there, just not as big.
