... classic tourist day, headed straight down the road from our hostel to the Hollywood the walk of fame. Had a look at some stars then grabbed some lunch before jumping on a celeb sightseeing tour of the Hollywood sign, Beverly Hills and rodeo drive and the celebrity homes. The tour was ok but we didn't get as close to the Hollywood sign as we would have liked and it was a bit hot out there but still good to see Beverly Hills and that part of LA. We got back from ...

We took the studio train tour even though we have done it before but its always fun to see the special effects and where the shows and movies are ...

... add, a tsunami sized wave (metaphorical of course, a wave that high is absurd..come on) of realisation struck me as to the scale and duration of my trip; a concoction of emotions which essentially amounted in me ******** it!! So my first day in the US reluctantly began in the dark at 5am courtesy of good old jet-lag. My hostel in West Hollywood made it just a 30 minute walk to Sunset strip and Hollywood Blvd so I headed out to see what I could find. Considering ...
