We headed into DL park after breakfast and went straight to Splash Mountain. This was one ride that always had a long wait time and this morning it wasn't too bad. There were a few body builders working out, and the stage where body building competitions take place was right there in the midst of some very touristy (trashy) shops. We left the main highway several times to explore the coastline. We didn't walk to far on the sand, as we were dressed for the plane.

After everyone returned, and a quick stop to eat at Jack-in-the-box, we all piled into the Ford and went to Griffith Park and the famous Griffith Observatory overlooking Los Angeles.
