... br> After a lazy morning we went into Portland to see the Museum of Art. This gallery has a surprisingly good collection of European Masters plus Chinese, American, Native American, Modern and the best was the Impressionists. We were in the museum for close to five hours before we reached burnout.

... big fish, little fish". After a hilarious walk home and Jen falling down the giant Oregon curbs we made it back to our room with many new Facebook friends and drunken vision, skyped the lovely Amber and passed out after many slices of skippy peanut butter on toast around 6am!

McMinnville is our first stop and lunch at McMenamins Hotel Oregon. McMenamins is somewhat of a Pacific Northwest institution – a company that takes old buildings and turns them into funky hotels and pubs, many brewing their own beer all decorated with McMenamins’ signature whimsical art. ... eat some of the best food in the world. I have always been a history guy in fact it was one of the only classes that I payed attention to and had good grades in.
