    Spent last night in Eucha, Oklahoma with Linda and Earl. Linda and I were stationed on Okinawa together. It was great to catch up.
    I was not sure I would be able to leave as severe thunderstorms were predicted. Fortunately it was just low dark clouds. As I traveled north the skies began to lighten and clear.

    The second day began with some hygiene and I hit the road earlier, around 10 or so. I sped right through Nebraska, of which I had about half the state to travel, and did the same through Iowa. I stopped at the Saint's Rest Coffeehouse in Grinnell where a few of my friends had recently graduated from college, as well as walked around a park there to stretch out my legs.
