Today we decided we would go back downtown. We parked for free in the Oprey Mill car park. ( this is the huge complex where we were yesterday..we know our way there more or less, (the car parks are bigger to do u turns in) and caught a bus from there downtown. As we are seniors we had half price tickets....good for our budget! It was really warm and humid but we wanted to do the Ryman tour. At least in the buildings there is air conditioning. ... if you like country music you will know what it is ( a round piece of wooden floor boards from the original stage ). Afterwards we had to decide what to do. If we had driven back to where we are staying, it would have been time to come go back again,so we went to the Mall, no shopping just window shopping to pass the time. ... produced two wine glasses, it is so much better drinking wine from a glass! We sat in the garden getting to know them and later they went out and we had our usual salad. After a short recording session (one song for $20 on your own CD) we braved the crowds to find the Hard Rock Cafe a few blocks down Broadway, right into the middle of CMA Fest!!  I'm happy to report we successfully acquired the requisite souvenir t-shirts and headed back upstream in the heat and humidity back to the parking garage - and got there with TWO MINUTES TO SPARE.
