... an extra suitcase when I see her dad in a few weeks on another trip. Already mailed 2 large boxes, and need to mail 2 more. So, like usual, I won't be sleeping tonight. We leave for the airport at 6 am. Then I get to run last minute errands, finish my packing, help pack hubby who hasn't started yet (work will do that to ya). And just two more days of Pimslurs Swedish.

... morning today. Headed for the laundromat and did up a couple of loads, then went adventuring. Went to the mounds at Ocmulgee National Monument and had a great visit. Good museum and video, amazing gathering mound with chief's circle, and visits to outside of funeral and other mounds. A bit of a walk for me through the river / backwater area with herons and egrets. Then it was on to the Fish and Pig for a great supper. Back to the camp early for some quiet time. A great ...

... good luck at this border crossing for places to stop. This was going to be the start of our ascent to the highest point of the trip and the Highway Patrol had issued a fog advisory on 1620 AM radio for the next 30 miles. So we took advantage of the first exit to Jellico and ate our tuna sandwiches outside a gas station.
