All those swamp people type tv shows that now dominate Australian TV only talk about alligators, and I wouldn't think you'd want to be in the water with an alligator like they are if there's a chance there's a crocodile in there too.     ... and a Denny's diner was near by. I was craving the basic staple diet I'd experienced at the Outback Steakhouse the night before. That was Steak and two veg. So I sat down and ordered. Except this meat and two veg was nowhere near as appetising. The broccoli was boiled beyond any nutritional value and the piece of meat was a cheap cut.     My first impressions of Miami are all good. It lives up to its reputation as far as I can tell so far. The reception area of the hotel was more like a nightclub when we arrived which meant yelling at the check in staff over the music. But hey! This is Miami!     ... restaurants. Our favourite place was Conch Republic Seafood Company. It is located in Key West Bight right on the water front and its one of those restaurants you can sit at for hours watching the boats coming in for the night and listening to the live music playing.
