We were prepared to pay $70 to be killed at a motel 6 in Fredericksburg. We paid hotwire under $60 to stay at a Hilton in Fairfax. Our elation when the internet told us what hotel we had received was somewhere around lottery winner status.

Yesterday was such a big day for us, so we had a big sleep in to recover. We needed a couple of things from Harley so we went to Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax Virginia, about 20kms from where we are staying.

... that there were 30 funerals per day because of all of the WWII and Vietnam soldiers passing away. We saw the Kennedy grave...in my opinion his assassination was the greatest tragedy of my generation. So many things would have been different had he lived. RFK's and Teddy's graves are near his, as Jackie and her infant children who died. John-John isn't, of course, as they never found his body after the plane crash.
