      ... to rain. It didn’t but nor did the wind let up. It was howling off Lake Superior when I got there and the waves were crashing onto the shore. Nothing placid about it! Anyway, I found a spot about 1/2 an hour north of Duluth to hunker down for the night.

      Just figured out that I’ve travelled 5500 km since leaving home. ...

      This mornings first mission was gathering all our bits and packing them. Amazing how much things can spread when four kids have dig through to find their stuff.

      Today was a loooong day in the car. We were really happy with the DVD player in the car as we left the B&B at 10:30 and arrived at 5:30, we had two brief stops, one for gas and one for food. Did I mention loooong???

      The scenery was beautiful, rolling farmland, corn fields and many quintessential red barns.
