Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. After lunch, we went to Natural Arch via a sky lift. There was a 600 m walk to the arch and it was spectacular.
We missed the turnoff to our campground and went on a very narrow winding road through the Red River Gorge. It was great even though there was a quite narrow tunnel that we just scraped through.

Today began with Ed saying farewell to all his coworkers. It was much more difficult than he anticipated. As he put it, "in my job here I haven't given anyone a reason to hate me!" So he made many dear friends and was sorry to say goodbye. But the road trip must go on!
