When I did a search on Food Network's "On The Road" App for places to eat on our trip, The Rock Cafe in Stroud stood out because it listed some German dishes I knew we'd enjoy :)

We stopped in Oklahoma for the weekend to spend time with Jenny and Camron (Tj's sis and bro-in-law) ...Zoe is so happy to be in a home around people who love her and not just a hotel! Camron is helping her play the piano and I think that is her new favorite hobby! We went to see a movie (Tommorowland was amazing)

Well a great day. I missed the opportunity yesterday of saying I was 24 hours from Tulsa but anyway we rode through Tulsa having again used an off road section. Bit tricky on half a ton of Harley but lucky I am big and strong. We were heading towards Oklahoma City and got as far as Edmund just short of Oklahoma City itself on the 66. Passed a huge RV centre called Dave's RVS only to pass a few miles later a place called DEANS RVS. How ironic. We did pass Spunky Gorge too but ...
... it was hugely impressive (check out the pictures) there was something a little creepy about it too.
Either way we are really glad that we went to see it.

... Boulevard. Main Street is named Will Rogers Boulevard. On the way into Tulsa I stopped in Catoosa to see the Blue Whale which used to be a children's plaything in a swimming hole. When I got there it was being used by kids for fishing. Tulsa has two different Route 66 alignments - pre and post 1932.
