It's Christmas Day and my present to myself is to be climbing into my car and head'n down the rod to Washington DC - the weather service suggests generally good weather for DC and I have always wanted to go to the Smithsonian, so, as I was so close (400 miles / 600 km) it seemed like a good idea!
But before I do head on down the road - I'd like to say how lucky I was to find Mike at 'MS Precision Automotive' who's workshop is just down the road from the dealership where ...
I flew out of Seattle today to Cleveland, Ohio to collect my new (for me) 1976 Buick Electra.

The bedtime story followed the same routine but instead of Brindley Bear we got Oliver Raccoon and we waited patiently for the not to be missed photo opportunity. By the end of our stay here I think we embraced the madness.
