I flew out of Seattle today to Cleveland, Ohio to collect my new (for me) 1976 Buick Electra.
I now understand why my friends almost fell off their chairs with laughter when I mentioned 'Cleveland' - there is somewhere that can be colder than Seattle, Washington in Winter! When I arrived and walked out of the airport to get a taxi, I felt little flutterings against my face - it was only when I looked into the light of the nearest light that I realized it was lightly snowing!!

... We pretty much had our pick of tent sites at the KOA and Anthony found a beauty on the edge of a marsh in front of Sandusky Bay. We didn't have much luck building a fire for lack of kindling, but we were too tired to care. Steakhouse in the evening (lovely sirloin and got a bit of a result as they stuffed up our starter and we ended up getting one of the steak dishes free) and were back in time for the bedtime story at 8pm. The bedtime story followed the same routine but instead of Brindley Bear we got Oliver Raccoon and we waited patiently for the not to be missed photo opportunity. By the end of our stay here I think we embraced the madness.
