... of people, whose shadows we could see outside the inlaid glass doors. At precisely 5:45 the doors opened, and in walked people in orderly groups of two, as if boarding Noah's ark. We needed a place to spend one night north of Atlanta and found an Army Corps campground near the interstate. The park worked out great as we had a drive through site and did not have to unhook. The lake is beautiful and this would be a good destination park. We realized we did not get a picture!

... south and are now camped in Cartersville, Georgia. In a short while we will go out for dinner to celebrate Jayne's birthday. Her first birthday request was not to have to cook dinner (which is being granted), her second request was to take the Interstate for a change, but after 50 miles she found a quieter route parallel to I-75 and avoiding all the heavy traffic...and had to admit it's not so bad.

... headed into Marietta where there is an "Australian Bakery and Cafe". Kinda ironic that we haven't even been gone a week yet, and we were already insanely keen for a pastie. We even scored a free loaf of bread! we had a quick stroll through the middle of this tiny square centre of town, which had rotunda and a water fountain. Seemed alot like those small town settings in movies, and by movies I mean the show Gilmore Girls. there was even a small children's train ...
