... to read each patients eyes, and then the machine selects the best pair of glasses from the computer inventory we built at Crestwood. Did you ever think that your old pair of glasses could end up giving sight to someone in India?  Well they can, thanks in part to the Lion's Club and to CBC. Maybe we can meet on Monday night to pack the glasses?  ...

Drove all day until it started to get dark and pulled off at a Super 8 motel in Elizabethtown (name of one of my favourite movies). I was tired from the long drive ~800 km today so I let myself chill to watching cable TV! Something I never do since there is no cable in the country.

... the same today, quite extraordinary. Anyway, having been educated somewhat we were taken to the tasting room to sample 3 different proofed bourbons. We soon discovered the pours per tasting they give you are measured for a couple of sips only, and this would be the case for all distilleries as it is regulated, and probably to lessen a bunch of bourbon swilling tourist’s driving aimlessly through-out Kentucky.
