... an hour later than planned. It was hard saying goodbye not only to the teens, but to everyone at Restart. We really had a great time there and met some amazing people. We got to Chris's house a little early for dinner, so we hung out at a nearby elementary school playground to relax and enjoy the weather. Then we went to Chris's lovely house for a pizza dinner and good conversation. It was nice to review the week and also hear more about Chris and his life. We ...

... and then we headed on out. We jammed on the way back with Mal (sister in formation) and when we arrived we went straight to reflection so we could watch Twilight, one of Tiffani's favorite movies. Jack Stack BBQ

      Menu Item: Jack’s Best

Notes: Features one Crown Prime Beef Rib, Pork Baby Back Ribs, and Beef Burnt Ends with sides of Cheesy Corn Bake, Creamy Coleslaw, & Toast. Had a spicy sauce and a sweet sauce.

Comments: There’s no knife (or teeth for that matter) needed here! You could easily cut everything with a plastic fork if you had to. The prime beef rib was extremely tender. The entire strip fell off the bone when touched. As soon as ...

Menu Item: Ribs & Brisket Plate with Spicy Slaw

Notes: Today was one of the first days after they changed their name from Oklahoma Joe's to Joe's Kansas City

Comments: Best ribs I've ever eaten. They had a unique taste unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The dry rub on them was perfect. The meat just fell off the bone and was extremely tender. The tender, medium cut brisket had an initial smoky bite to it ...

      And so we begin

... with House Hunters led me to an international episode - in Budapest. Budapest? I wasn't even quite sure where it was or if it was safe, but after a little googling I decided that the architecture and history was exactly what I was looking for in my first European trip. Why Austria? Well, it's technically a long story, but when I found the "Sound of Music" bike tour during the true trip planning stages, I knew I must go and be alive with the ...
