... for poor visibility we were ducking in and out of the channel to avoid Navy traffic.

During the trip down anything that wasn't fastened down below ended up on the floor in the salon. Left Annapolis at 2 Monday and arrived at Top Rack Marina at about 2 this afternoon. Rewarded ourselves with a great dinner out at the Amber Lantern Restaurant. Early to bed. Up at 5:30 tomorrow to get underway at first light.

The park is called First Landing because 104 Englishmen landed here in April 1607 but life was hard & by September half of them had died. There's lots of history along this coast - there are military & mariners museums detailing the shipping history but we decided to keep on ...
