Today is Mark's last day working on the children's unit at Acadia (he agreed to stay on Monday to help out on the Adult unit) so he was up extra early and excited. We went to Gosselin's to get a celebratory doughnut and he was at work by 7:45am. Meaning, I am just sitting here on the couch awake super early. I am trying to organize our ...

The next was Cribworks, which we somehow managed to go down backwards (this is supposed to be the part where everyone smiles and waves their paddles in the air, but our photo is us backwards, crying and swallowing a lot of water). I had been warned by a friend beforehand that our company likes to "surf the rapids" a lot and would try to take us down "Bone Crusher" aka "Fluffy Box of Kittens". I was told, "at all costs, do NOT do fluffy." Well, we DID ...

... s Cucina. It's Italian and the bread is baked daily by Massimo; baker by day, head Chef by night. We split a salad and a pasta dish (delicioso!) and really enjoyed the meal. A more upscale restaurant for Bangor, but it was a nice retreat and a fantastic date night. We fell asleep on the couch watching Scandal (surprise!). This obsession unfortunately is almost over as I am well into Season 3.

Today I'm trying to make progress on my family's New Years trip to ...
