    ... They named their business Cross & Dimmitt. They sold their postcards from the running boards of their Model T at Crown Point as the Columbia River Highway was under construction. A set of 20 cards cost $1.00.They later built a stand at Crown Point. When Dimmitt died in 1963 at age 82, he had managed Vista house for 40 years.
