... earthquake, including watching subway trains split and catch fire. We also saw some famous sets, the most memorable one being "Colonial Street", better known as "Wisteria Lane" from 'Desperate Housewives'. It was weird to drive through there, it was like the show had come to life, even though some of the houses had been re-painted other colours to be used in newer shows. Another highlight was the plane crash set from 'War of the Worlds' where they used an actual ...

... beach and watched all the surfers. At least 100 surfers all piled together catching some sick curls, brah. Took another drive along the Tantalus Loop road. This time we went up to the top lookout (which we missed the 1st time) nd took in the amazing views of Waikiki, Honolulu, and Diamond Head. After curving down the hill in sea-sickness inducing fashion we headed to some local shops. Then off to the movies for some ...

... the dance floor. It was to loud and pushy in there to grab a drink so we bailed out. It would have been fun if I was 21 and had suffered a massive trauma.

We grabbed some drinks at the market and headed up to the room for the night. This trip is more of a marathon than a sprint so we are going to pace ourselves a bit.

I fell asleep watching the blackhawks game feeling guilty for being clean shaven.
