No so sure what the locals thought of us as they did their shopping. On arriving back at the hotel we found that a few new arrivals were gathering in the Lobby, enjoying a chat and a beverage or two. It took an hour and a half to get there on the bus and on the way the driver pointed out some of the famous buildings and places that we had already passed on the LA Tour on Wednesday. We couldn't see the Hollywood sign today though, the cloud was too low over the hills.

We arrived at the park about 10:15am and planned out our day. We had "Front of line/backstage" passes, but it turned out we didn't ...

Next we went down Rodeo Drive. Man, there were some serious expensive shops down here! Plus they had some serious Christmas lights as well!

Our next stop was Santa Monica. Here we had 2 hours to kill. We walked down to the beach, which just looked like on Baywatch! We walked along the side walk to the Peir where there were souvenir shops and a fair ...

... to swing the kids at the park before driving 1.5hrs to Carlsbad our next destination. We arrived just after 4pm so had time to look around however the sun goes down so early here (5 ish!) and it's a lot cooler than Florida must admit. We decided to eat out as there was lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Kids were a bit of a drama again with James not eating one thing at all. We got home and got them to bed after "showering them" as the one ...
