... they would have had me. Since that would have been strange, we took two baguettes twisted in brown paper and headed home. We only stayed long enough for a snack of cheese and bread and a shower so that I could see Paris before falling asleep.
I think it would be very challenging to drive in Paris unless you were raised to it. As Catherine said, “It’s important to know where you are going.” There is not room for indecision or ...

I didn't really think anything of it, nor have a reason to really look at h** prop**ly until I realised she had really bad BO, that you would normally only smell coming from some kind of smelly man. Wond**ing what kind of woman would make such a stench, I looked ov** at h** only to find that she was a really creepy ...

Don’t look at or smile at a merchant in Jerusalem unless your ready to dicker
Don’t be afraid to speak English, even though all you hear is Hebrew of Arabic, most everyone speaks some English.
Also don’t forget you are in Israel. Don’t have an expectation that everyone should be able to understand and speak English.

... couple bars and played "The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down" five times on the jukebox and we sang every word like it was 1865. We became the hit of the party after asking the bartender to turn it up and to put on the Yankees-Red Sox Game.
We hit the road early in the morning and knew we were going to have a good day when we read signs that said we were entering "Goochland". Next stop...Western Virginia.

We were finally on the bike and headed south towards Cary, North Carolina to visit Luba’s family at about 12pm.
The ride south was very pleasant. I really enjoy riding on small highways with really tall trees along both sides of the highway. It just seems like a much more peaceful ride. It’s so much different from the west coast riding where there a lot of open space.
Soo one of the research program coordinators thought it was a great idea to take the interns to Kings Dominion, an amusement park. The interns from this area seemed hyped up about it, so I was excited as well.
Kings Dominion is about an hour and 15 minutes from Charlottesville, past Richmond, I think. People talk about how they go to Richmond to shop or see a movie (because Charlottesville clearly offers none of ...
The trip from Indianapolis, IN through KY and WVA was hectic and nothing new to see except for a quick tour of Louisville, KY.
The roads were really bad and conjested from Indianapolis on. We overnighted in Louisville and took a quick, err, slow tour on the horse cart around the downtown area. Not a bad city, except for ...

... out Colonial Williamsburg. I was unimpressed. Watching people in historical costumes alternate between texting and bad acting isn't worth $40 to me. But the buildings were nice, and it was a pleasant little town to stroll around. But at no point did I feel I had been transported back to the 18th century. There's something less than authentic about vending machines with $3 bottles of water and ads announcing "Ye Must Be Thirsty. Quencheth It You Scallywag!" I ...
Richmond, Virginia, United States dane... Saving Jane - a standard rock piece with a girl singer who was somewhere between Bonnie Tyler and Cher. She sounded and looked much better than that sounds. On a lazy Saturday, I went for a long walk along the boardwalk and watched the beach volleyball and sand sculpting competitions. The beach volleyball was not as exciting as it could have been - not all that much talent on show - but the sculpting was really impressive, if you can be impressed by piles of sand. Jaws of Clay ...
